But for many people, tired of imposing on their friends or wracked by guilt after leaving their pets behind at a kennel, in-home care is the perfect solution.

Dog walking allows animals to stay in their own familiar environment and receive food, exercise and attention with minimal upset to their normal routines. They’re creatures of habit, just like we are and, for canines cooped up at home all day, a dog walker provides a badly needed outlet for excess energy. In addition, I will chauffeur animals to vet appointments, bring in the mail, water plants, and turn on and off lights providing a more lived-in look while you’re gone.

A tired dog is a good dog. They never get into any trouble when they’re exercised. The extra walks also help keep the dogs in shape and give pet owners peace of mind.

If at certain times you’re working late or traveling, I will do everything — feed them, walk them, take them to the vet, pick them up from the vet.

Many people like to have their dogs walked while they are at work and they would rather have someone to do this so that their dog can have a long walk rather than a short walk when they get home late and tired. The person may no longer be able to do it themselves perhaps from injury or illness.

Many older people who cannot walk long distances will keep a dog for companionship and get me to walk their dog each day or several times a week.

We will cater our cat sitting visits to your pets’ desires – we can brush, cuddle, play with, or just plain hang out with them on our visits. Our cat sitter’s time is spent giving each pet what they ask us for.
