Common canine behavioral problems such as barking, chewing and digging are the result of isolation, boredom and insufficient exercise. I can help provide the physical and mental stimulation that your dog needs.

Paws Personal Pet Care Walking service is designed for pet owners who may be out at work all day, are physically unable to exercise their dog, or who just wish to provide their dog with an increased level of exercise and socialization. Your pet will receive private, personal, loving care in my home. This makes most pets feel secure and happy right from day one of their visit. Your pet is treated as part of the family.. Small Ratio – usually no more then 4 at a time. When you leave your pet with me you can go away feeling good and knowing that your pet is in great hands.

Vacation Care in my home or I will visit yours, Sleepovers, Occasional or daily Dog walking, Puppy visits, and Cat visits in your home. Also Birds and Small Caged Animal care.

Sometimes life gets busy with commitments. Whether it be work, vacation or family obligations, PAWS Personal Pet Care is there for you and your pet to fill the gap when needed. PAWS Personal Pet Care will be there to give your dog, cat, or other small animal the same love and attention that you do. We can be there when you can’t. We offer affordable, reliable pet care for your pet and they will be in a safe environment with loads of stimulation.

All dogs will have safe social play time while, running, fetching toys, getting lots of exercise and going on lots of walks and just doing what doggies do best. Good behavior is always encouraged and your pet will receive basic guidance and training (sit, stay, no jumping up etc). This will be promoted during their visit whether inside or outside.

PAWS Personal Pet Care was founded in October of 2009 in the city of Newmarket.

As my by-line says “I will treat your pets like my own”. I have lived in Newmarket since 1995 and reside here with my husband and 3 children.

Alora was my inspiration to start my business in 2009.  Being so heartbroken losing her so suddenly in 2018, I was not sure if I had room for another.  After a year, we met Mazie and it was easy to love again.  Mazie brings so much joy to our family and all dogs boarding in our home.  Mazie loves the cottage and has become a real water pup.  I think even Alora would approve.

I am certified in Pet First Aid, insured and have been bonded.

Over the years my business has grown so much that I am pleased to welcome several Associates to my PAWS Personal Pet Care team.  Each one has the love for animals as I do.  They are kind, generous and reliable individuals with big hearts. Each is also insured and bonded.

I will do a “Home” visit prior to your stay to assess your dog. They must get along with all breeds of dogs. I do not accept any dogs into my in-home dog sitting service that are aggressive with other dogs and they must also be good with children.
